Google Ads shows what you pay for your search keywords. Perquery matches these keywords with your tracked prompts. You see where you pay for terms that AI engines already answer with your brand, and where you have a gap.

What Perquery reads

For the account that you select, Perquery reads the keywords of your campaigns for each day. For each keyword, it reads these values:
  • Impressions
  • Clicks
  • Cost, in the currency of the account
  • Conversions

Connect Google Ads

1

Open the Integrations page

In the sidebar, click Integrations.
2

Start the connection

On the Google Ads card, click Connect.
3

Give access

Sign in with a Google account that has access to your Google Ads account. Allow the access that Google shows.
4

Select the account

Under Property, select the Google Ads account. Click Save.
The list shows the accounts that have their own campaigns. A manager account is not in the list. The client accounts under a manager account are in the list. Perquery only reads the data of the account. It does not change your campaigns. The first import starts after you save the account. For the imports, the states and the disconnection, see Integrations overview.

Where the data shows

The Paid terms against AI visibility table on the Search Performance page uses this data. For each matched keyword, the table shows the AI visibility, the Spend, the Avg. CPC and a Verdict: Perquery matches the spend to prompts by keyword. A keyword with no matched prompt does not show in the table. See Search performance.

Disconnect

On the Google Ads card, click Disconnect. Perquery deletes the imported keyword data of the site.
