# Site settings

> Open, configure, archive, restore and delete the sites of your organization.

The **Websites** page shows every site of your organization. Use it to open a site, change its settings, archive it or delete it.

## Open the Websites page

Do one of these steps:

* Open the site switcher in the sidebar and click **Manage websites**.
* Open the user menu and click **Websites**.

The page shows a card for each site. Each card shows the brand name, the domain and the number of tracked AI engines. If your plan has a site limit, the page shows how many sites you use.

## Switch to a site

Click **Open** on the card of the site. Perquery shows the pages of that site. The card of the selected site shows **Active**, and its button shows **Current**.

You can also select a site in the site switcher in the sidebar.

## Change the settings of a site

Click **Configure** on the card of the site. The settings have four tabs. Each tab has its own **Save** button.

### General

| Field | Use |
| - | - |
| **Category** | What the brand sells, for example `B2B SaaS, CRM`. |
| **Country** | The market of the brand. |
| **Language** | The language that your buyers ask in. |

Perquery generates prompts, competitors and answers for this market.

### Tracking

Under **Tracked assistants**, select the AI engines that Perquery asks. Select at least one. The number of AI engines that you can track depends on your plan. See [AI engines](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/ai-engines.md).

### Schedule

| Field | Use |
| - | - |
| **Schedule** | How often a scan runs, for example **Weekly on Monday at 6:00 AM**. |
| **Timezone** | The time zone of the schedule. |

Your plan can prevent the more frequent options. You cannot select those options. For how scans run, see [Scans and schedule](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/sites/scans-and-schedule.md).

### Brand

In **Brand aliases**, enter the other names of your brand. Separate the names with commas, for example `Acme, Acme Inc`. Perquery uses these names to find your brand in AI answers.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You cannot change the domain of a site. To change it, contact support.

## Archive a site

An archived site keeps its measurements. Perquery stops the scans of the site and stops reading its website.

**1. Open the actions menu**

On the card of the site, click the **Website actions** menu.

**2. Archive the site**

Click **Archive**.

**3. Confirm**

In **Archive this website?**, click **Archive**.

The site moves to the **Archived** list at the bottom of the page.

## Restore a site

In the **Archived** list, click **Restore** on the row of the site. The site moves back to the cards.

## Delete a site

> [!WARNING]
>
> You cannot undo a deletion. Perquery deletes every prompt, persona, competitor and measurement of the site.

**1. Open the actions menu**

On the card or the archived row of the site, click the **Website actions** menu.

**2. Start the deletion**

Click **Delete**.

**3. Type the domain**

In **Delete this website?**, type the domain of the site, for example `flowdesk.io`.

**4. Confirm**

Click **Delete permanently**.

If the text does not match the domain, Perquery shows **That does not match the website's domain.**

## Permissions

Your role sets what you can do on this page. To change the settings, your role must let you update sites. To archive, restore or delete a site, your role must let you delete sites. See [Roles and permissions](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/account/roles-and-permissions.md).
