# Reporting

> Build a custom report for a site from data blocks, ask the AI assistant about your data and download the report as a PDF.

The **Reporting** page builds a custom report for the site that you select in the sidebar. You add data blocks to a canvas, select the AI engines and download the report as a PDF file.

To open the page, click **Reporting** in the **Management** group of the sidebar. Your role must give access to reports. See [Roles and permissions](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/account/roles-and-permissions.md).

## Build a report

**1. Check the brand**

In **Report header**, the **Brand / client** field shows the site that you selected in the sidebar. To report on a different site, select it in the sidebar.

**2. Select the engines**

In **Report LLM engine**, click **All** or click one or more engines.

**3. Select the period**

At the top of the screen, select the **Date range** and the **Compare to** period.

**4. Add the blocks**

In **Component library**, click each block that you want. The blocks appear on the canvas in the order that you add them.

A new report starts with these blocks: **Scorecard row**, **Metric trends**, **LLM breakdown** and **Share of voice**.

To remove a block, click it again in **Component library**. Or click **Remove block** on the block in the canvas.

## Blocks

| Block | Content |
| - | - |
| **Scorecard row** | The main metrics of the site. |
| **Metric trends** | The main metrics over time. |
| **Visibility and share of voice** | The visibility and the share of voice of the brand over time. |
| **LLM breakdown** | The metrics for each AI engine. |
| **Top opportunities** | The opportunities with the highest priority. |
| **Activity log** | The actions that you recorded in Impact Tracking in the period. |
| **Persona × LLM matrix** | The visibility for each persona and each AI engine. |
| **Persona balance (radar)** | The visibility of the personas on a radar chart. It needs three personas or more. |
| **Share of voice** | The share of voice of your brand and your competitors. |
| **Competitor trend** | The visibility of the competitors over time. |
| **Prioritization matrix** | The opportunities by priority. |
| **Domain rating trend** | The domain rating over time. |
| **Bot log trend** | The AI bot visits over time. |
| **Bot category distribution** | The AI bot visits by purpose. |
| **Format distribution** | The content formats of your pages. |

A block shows **Your role cannot see this data.** when your role does not give access to its data. A block shows **There is no data for this period yet.** when the period has no data.

## Download the report

Click **Download PDF**. Your browser makes the PDF file from the canvas and downloads it. The report must have one block or more.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Perquery does not save the report. The address of the page keeps the blocks, the engines and the period. To open the same report again, bookmark the address.

## Ask the AI assistant

The **Generate your report with AI** panel answers questions about the data of your site. The panel shows when your role can create reports.

**1. Write the question**

Type your question in the text box. Or click a question in **Quick start**, for example **How do I rank against competitors?**

**2. Send the question**

Press Enter or click **Send**.

The answer uses the date range, the comparison period and the engines of the report.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Perquery does not save the answers. When you reload the page, the conversation is cleared.

To clear the conversation, click **Clear**.

AI answers need an active subscription. The number of AI answers depends on your plan. See [pricing](https://perquery.ai/en/pricing).
