# Performance Overview

> Read the headline metrics, trends, engine breakdown and persona results of your site.

The **Performance Overview** page shows how AI engines show your brand. It is the first page that opens for a site. The cards fill in when scans complete.

To open the page, click **Performance Overview** in the sidebar.

## Filters

Use the controls at the top of the page to set what the cards show. All cards on the page use the same filters.

| Control | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Date range** | Selects the period. Select a preset, for example **Last month**, or select **Custom range…** and pick the **First day** and the **Last day**. |
| **Compare to** | Selects the period that the changes on the scorecards compare with: **Previous period**, **Previous year** or **Custom range…**. |
| **Persona filter** | Selects the persona. The default is the baseline. It shows as **Raw** when the baseline is the raw query. |
| **AI engine** | Selects one or more AI engines. **All engines** uses every engine that your site tracks. |

> [!NOTE]
>
> When you select some of the engines, the numbers are calculated from those engines only. Do not compare them with the numbers for all engines.

## Scorecards

The top row has five scorecards. Each card shows the value for the selected period, the change against the **Compare to** period and a small trend line. Hover the info icon on a card to read its definition.

| Card | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Visibility** | How often your brand appears in AI answers to your tracked prompts, as a percentage. A mention in first place counts fully. A mention in a lower place counts less. |
| **Share of Voice** | Your share of all brand mentions in the answers, as a percentage. It shows your position against your competitors. |
| **Avg. Rank** | Your average position when an answer lists your brand. A lower number is better. 1 means that your brand was mentioned first. |
| **Avg. Sentiment** | How positive the language is when AI engines mention your brand. The value goes from -1 (negative) to 1 (positive). |
| **Domain Rating** | The backlink rating of your domain (DR, 0–100), as it was at each scan. |

For **Avg. Rank**, a decrease is an improvement. The card marks it as an improvement.

A card shows **Awaiting first scan** until a scan has measured your site.

## Visibility scan

The **Visibility scan** card shows the latest scan of your site: its status, the answers collected and the counts of answered, failed and skipped answers. For more information, see [Scans and schedule](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/sites/scans-and-schedule.md).

## Metric Trends

The **Metric Trends** card shows the metrics over time, with one point for each completed scan. The chart needs at least two scans.

* Click a metric button above the chart to show or hide its line. At least one line stays on the chart.
* When you show one metric, the chart uses the scale of that metric.
* When you show more than one metric, each line is indexed to 0–100, so that you can compare metrics on different scales. Hover a point to read the real value.

## LLM Breakdown

The **LLM Breakdown** card shows your visibility for each AI engine. Use it to find the engines where your brand is strong or weak. For the list of engines, see [AI engines](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/ai-engines.md).

## Personas

The **Personas** card lists each persona with its visibility. Click a persona to set the **Persona filter** of the page to that persona. For more information, see [Personas](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/monitor/personas.md).

## Top Opportunities

The **Top Opportunities** card lists the prompts with the highest opportunity score. Click **See all** to open the full list. For more information, see [Opportunities](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/act/opportunities.md).

## Export the page

You can download the scorecards and some cards as a picture.

**1. Open the export menu**

Click **Export** next to the page title to export all scorecards. To export one card, click **Export** or the download icon on that card.
