# Google Analytics 4

> Connect Google Analytics 4 to see the traffic that AI assistants send to your website and how it converts.

Google Analytics 4 records the visits to your website. Perquery reads the visits that come from AI assistants. It compares them with your organic and paid traffic.

## What Perquery reads

For the property that you select, Perquery reads these values for each day and each traffic source:

* Sessions
* Conversions
* Revenue

Perquery keeps three kinds of traffic:

| Kind | Source |
| - | - |
| AI | Visits that an AI assistant refers to your website. Perquery keeps one row for each assistant. |
| Organic | Visits from the organic channel groups, for example organic search. |
| Paid | Visits from the paid channel groups, for example paid search. |

Perquery does not keep the other traffic sources.

## Connect Google Analytics 4

**1. Open the Integrations page**

In the sidebar, click **Integrations**.

**2. Start the connection**

On the **Google Analytics 4** card, click **Connect**.

**3. Give access**

Sign in with a Google account that has access to your Analytics property. Allow the access that Google shows.

**4. Select the property**

Under **Property**, select the Analytics property of your website. Click **Save**.

The first import starts after you save the property. For the imports, the states and the disconnection, see [Integrations overview](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/integrations/overview.md).

## Where the data shows

The **Search Performance** page shows two panels from this data:

* **AI referral traffic**: The sessions of each AI assistant in the selected date range.
* **Conversion comparison**: The conversion rate of each source against the organic traffic.

See [Search performance](https://docs.perquery.ai/en/monitor/search-performance.md).

## Disconnect

On the **Google Analytics 4** card, click **Disconnect**. Perquery deletes the imported traffic data of the site.
